About the event venue

How many guests can the venue hold?

Yes, you’re free to decorate as you like. The venue includes vases and wooden trays for decoration, and there’s fabric available for hanging from the ceiling if desired. The chairs come with white covers, and all lighting is dimmable.

There is plenty of parking space — including a large grass area, spots in front of the main house, and along the gravel road outside. We’ll show you the best options on site.

There is a serving kitchen equipped with a full-size refrigerator and fridge/freezer, a party cooler, and a wine cooler. There’s also plenty of counter space and a sink. Near the kitchen, there’s a 3-phase power outlet suitable for catering equipment. For serving food, there’s a freestanding solid wood kitchen island (L350 x W100).

The event venue is located on the second floor and is only accessible via stairs from two directions. The stairs are wide and sturdy with good railings, but the venue is not wheelchair accessible.

The floor area is approximately 200 square meters, with slanted ceilings along the long sides.

There are about 90 folding chairs, a nice wooden bench, five round tables and 14 rectangular ones. The round tables have a diameter of 110 cm and the dimensions of the rectangular ones are W75 and L180. There are also two corner sofas with accompanying tables.

Södra Lund does not have an alcohol license, so you are free to bring and serve your own drinks. There’s a long, solid wooden bar counter adjacent to the kitchen area that’s always available for use.

Yes, Södra Lund is surrounded by several churches. The closest is Ledberg Church, visible on a hill across the fields. Within 5–10 km you’ll also find Björkeberg, Flistad, Kaga, and Vreta Kloster churches. Outdoor ceremonies can also be arranged in our scenic surroundings here at Södra Lund.

There are two restrooms on the ground floor in a building about 10 meters from the event venue. A washing machine is also available there, which can be used as a changing table.

The rental always includes tables, chairs, chair covers, toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning and dishwashing supplies. A Bluetooth sound system is also included. When you rent the venue, you also have access to all shared spaces in our large B&B house, as well as the garden areas that are not private.

As long as your guests wish! There are no nearby neighbors who could be disturbed by loud music.

Open flames are not permitted due to fire safety regulations. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas.

Glassware and tableware can be provided upon request. They are stored in the large white house about 100 meters away, where there’s also a dishwasher. The easiest option is usually to rent glassware and tableware through your catering company.

Cleaning is carried out by the tenant. The cleaning schedule is on the wall next to the refrigerators. The tenant is also responsible for taking care of all recycling and other rubbish. However, the toilets are cleaned by the landlord.
